As one of my hugest inspirations, I feel a sense of obligation to acknowledge her and tell how and why she is one of my biggest inspirations.
Naturally being a huge fan of her voice, it is not only her gift that fascinates me. Reading her biography "Hayley Westenra: The World at her Feet" by Paul Little, made me realize how hard she has worked to achieve her goals and dream. Reading and knowing this made me realize how possible it can be for me to have the same ambition in my life to also live my dreams.

Her albums 'Pure' and 'Odyessy' have sold over 2 million copies world-wide and are famous for its angelic qualities. Her lyrics, particularly from 'Odyssey', have inspired some of my short stories and the songs are in general absolutely exceptional. I highly recommend it!
Hayley has always been and will always be the ultimate female role model for those who wish to strive in this world to live their dreams.

As a young person with the rest of your life in front of you, you could not have chosen a better person to emulate. As you know, our world if full of "celebrities" unworthy of emulation, but many of your peers chose to do so anyway, and seek the lowest common denominators in music, lifestyle choices, and behavior. By admiring and emulating Hayley Westenra, you have set your standards as high as they can be set, and you are to be commended. Wow Mark, what a lovely thing to say, and I can't emphasize how much you've made my day, so thank you so much. I try to learn from Hayley's inspiration, and I can only hope to be as successful as she is in my own life. It is a rare luxury to have someone like Hayley in this world.

You see celebrities come and go and rise and fall. And some get back up. But Hayley Westenra is consistently hard working, and between performances she visits old folks and sings them happy birthday, visits kids and teaches them how to sing, visits young under-privileged girls and gives them bicycles (6000 in the past several years) and visits veterans in war zones and brings them good cheer and joy.
If you, in your life, were to bring such joy to even ONE person, that would make your existence worthwhile in God's eyes. Imagine how many people around the world Hayley has gone the extra mile to bring joy to. YOU can do the same. And by appreciating Hayley, you have brought a measure of joy to my pitiful soul, Sukayna.
